Scam With Your Friends puts you at a desk in a scam call center in Kolkata, India, working for a rageaholic boss, and the game is one loop repeated: talk your way to payday, hit the quota, survive the shift, clock out, get graded. That phrasing comes almost directly from the official site and the official trailer description, and it is the honest one-line summary of how to play.

Step 1: Pick up the call
Every caller is generated live by AI. There is no script tree to memorize, because the person on the other end is improvised in real time, which is why two sessions never play the same. Your tools during a call are the phone itself, and the desktop apps the store listing confirms: a paint app, a screen recorder and a camera. Playtest footage shows a caller trust meter and a live transcript while you talk.
Step 2: Work the day's scam
The store listing promises "ridiculous scam scenarios". Community recordings add the shape of it: scams are claimed one day at a time, and types like romance, tech support, refund, crypto, gift card and bank jobs all appear across sessions. Each type grants its own abilities for the day. That rotation is community-sourced, not an official description, so treat the exact list as what players have seen so far.
Step 3: Get inside their machine
The key features list "remote access to victim computers", and in practice that is the second half of every call: once a caller trusts you enough, you connect to their desktop and work there with the same app windows you use at your own desk.
Step 4: Hit the quota, survive the shift
- The lobby earns money together, and there is a daily quota. The official line is blunt: hit your daily quota or get fired.
- Hazards land while you work. Computer viruses, police raids, air strikes and other workplace disasters are all in the official feature list. The hazards page has the full list of what players have run into.
- A performance meter tracks the shift as you go. Community recordings show the day ending on a countdown and a clock out button; one recording shows roughly eight minutes left near the end of a session, but the developer has not published a workday length, so treat that as one session, not a spec.
Step 5: Clock out, get graded, gear up
The official trailer description confirms two things happen with your earnings: you "buy stupid stuff" and you survive your boss's performance reviews. Community recordings add the details players actually see: an items shop with priced goods, a next-day shelf that restocks, and an end-of-day rating for the team. The quota and review page covers the firing side in detail.
